Visita Iglesia 2012

Every year we do Visita Iglesia, we've been doing it for many years now, it's like a tradition in our family. While most families will go out of town to relax and reflect, we on the other hand just stay in our house and engage in Holy week activities such as Pabasa here in our neighborhood.

We usually went to 7 churches around Metro Manila, last year we visited churches at Batangas because we stayed at my aunt's rest house there. But, this year was a bit different because we went to churches here in our town. After the Visita Iglesia, we ate at Paseo De Sta. Rosa and we saw the close up commercial guy, the one who sings for "Gabby" :)))

Here are some pictures of that day..

Hope you all had the time to pause and reflect this Holy Week. Happy Easter! :)

A New Beginning

It’s been almost 2 months since my last blog post, there are so many things that happened to me in that short span of time. I can’t wait to share it all to you in my upcoming posts. I’m just glad I was able to write again.

I finally have a job at a hospital, not as a nurse though, but still...I have work! I’m very thankful to God for giving me this opportunity. Sometimes life doesn't give you something you want, not because you don’t deserve it, but because you deserve MORE. We all had those moments that we feel God isn’t answering our prayers. I’ve been through a number of job interviews, exams and etc. I felt worthless, sad and disappointed because despite this, I also had relationship issues at that time and it felt like everything was falling apart in my life. Suddenly, this opportunity came. This job came at the right time in my life, I needed this to keep me busy and to keep my mind off things. I lost someone who has been an important part of my life for the past 3 years but God is so great because he has given me 12 new and awesome people :)

These past few months were a lot of things. Bumpy as it was, I find myself immensely thankful for the ride, for the people who helped me stay on the road, and most especially, for the direction it has given me as I face another “Beginning” in my life.
